Dutch Cops Back Odido as ShinyHunters Leaks Continue

In the early hours of Friday, ShinyHunters leaked 1,000,000 Odido records for a second day, and its site says a third round is set for February 28.
On February 26, Odido's CEO Søren Abildgaard said the company will not pay ransom or negotiate, backed by the Politie whose Stan Duijf said, `Our advice to ransomware victims is: don't pay if criminals demand a ransom.`
Have I Been Pwned's analysis shows 317,000 unique emails in the first million and 371,000 in the second, with leaks including bank account, passport, driving‑licence, and BSN numbers.
Odido's website is currently unreachable while its subsidiary Ben's site remains online, and affected customers are offered a 24-month F-Secure protection subscription, The Register requested more information.
ShinyHunters claims to have stolen around 21 million records and promised to leak 2 million daily, with breach tools like Have I Been Pwned and Check je Hack cataloguing the data.
