Finnish and allied jets to fly over Kuopio for Defence Forces' Flag Day
The Finnish Defence Forces will mark Flag Day on 4 June 2025 with flight demonstrations and a military parade in Kuopio. The programme includes multiple air displays throughout the day, featuring Finnish and allied aircraft. The city centre and harbour area of Kuopio will experience increased noise as jets and helicopters take part in scheduled performances. Activities will begin in the morning and continue into the evening.
In addition to Hornet fighters, the flyover of the Finnish Defence Forces' national parade in Kuopio will also feature aircraft from two neighboring air forces.
All Air Force units are involved.
The President of the Republic will be present at the Defence Forces Flag Day on the 4th.
