NORTH CENTER — The North Center mural of a Ukrainian refugee who was killed last year in North Carolina has been defaced.  The mural of Iryna Zarutska was initially painted in January by Barcelona-based street artist SAV45 on the side of a building at 2415 W. A controversial North Center mural of a Ukrainian refugee who was stabbed to death last summer was vandalized.Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee, is depicted in the mural from the shoulders up, wearing a blue shirt and soft gaze on her face.
