N.J. man sentenced to decades in prison for sexually assaulting teen for 2 years, authorities say

A 45-year-old Plainfield man was sentenced to two decades in state prison for sexually assaulting a child over a two-year period, the Union County Prosecutor’s Office announced Thursday.Edisson Manzano-Lopez was sentenced on Sept. 11 by Union County Superior Court Judge Christopher Struben to 20 years in state prison for assaulting a juvenile between 2021 and 2023, the office said.
