Nisswa no longer pursuing local option sales tax

NISSWA — Nisswa will no longer pursue the idea of enacting a local option sales tax, or LOST, in the city to fund city park improvements. This decision came at the Tuesday, Dec. 16, regular meeting, and a month after a 3-2 vote to continue steps to impose a 0.5% tax for up to 15 years.
