Nisswa celebrates Freedom Days

NISSWA — Temperatures topped 89 degrees Thursday, July 3, for Nisswa's annual Freedom Days festivities, but evening clouds and a light breeze made the humidity bearable for the 7 p.m. parade. People lined both sides of Main Street for the parade during a day that also featured Turtle Races, Water Wars, food vendors and live music. Festivities were capped by fireworks show.
