- Soldiers attacked Saturday night in the Kodunga area, Borno state, recovering weapons, food items and medical supplies with no casualties as clearance continued in Sambisa Forest, Mandara Mountains and Timbuktu Triangle.
- The insurgency includes Islamic State West Africa Province , and the conflict has killed about 35,000 civilians and displaced more than 2 million people, according to the United Nations.
