Nicolas Lerner appointed head of the DGSE

So far Director General of Internal Security, Nicolas Lerner was appointed to the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, replacing Bernard Emié, whose departure had been announced weeks ago. Céline Berthon succeeds him at the helm of the DGSI.

Appointed this Wednesday, December 20, to the Council of Ministers, the current director of internal security, in promotion with Macron at ENA, is leaving a service that he had strengthened, to join a DGSE “criticized in recent months”, and facing numerous challenges.
