In Datça district of Muğla, inspections have been increased targeting those camping with tents and caravans in forested areas and on beaches due to the summer and fire season. Gendarmerie and General Directorate of Forestry teams warned those camping in violation of the rules and removed them from the area; it was announced that the inspections will continue from the ground and air throughout the fire season.
