Lawmakers in the NH State Senate in Concord have voted to approve a new two year, over 15-billion dollar budget. The Senate’s proposal calls for nearly 250-million more dollars in spending than the fiscal plan crafted in the House. Both chambers will meet next week to name members to a committee that will be responsible for working out a compromise between the two budget bills.
