New bearcat joins the Erie Zoo
A new animal joined the Erie Zoo family, coming all the way from Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. Sheba the bearcat arrived at the zoo a few days ago, an animal native to Southeast Asia. Sheba is a little shy right now while she gets used to her new home. But if you're lucky, you can catch a glimpse of Sheba in her exhibit near the zoo's main entrance. Guests are asked to give Sheba a little privacy while she adjusts to her surroundings.
