New 91-acre park to open in Mint Hill by year’s end

Ezell Park, a $8.5 million Mecklenburg County project, will open in Mint Hill later this year. The 91-acre site includes pickleball courts, a splash pad, trails, and a nature-themed playground. About 30 acres will be developed to preserve the area’s agrarian character, with future amenities planned. It’s Mint Hill’s first county regional park.
