- On Saturday, 10th January 2025, NDLEA operatives arrested Jeremiah Isaiah Nkanta, 80‑year‑old ex‑convict, with 5.7 kilograms of skunk in Mmanta‑Abak village.
- On Friday, 9th January NDLEA operatives intercepted Ani Onyebuchi Romans on Oron‑Ibaka road with full‑body mannequins containing 5.3 kilograms of tramadol bound for Cameroun.
- At Lamido Aliyu Mustapha International Airport, Yola, authorities recovered 30,950 capsules of tramadol from Ugwoke Chibueze on Tuesday, 6th January, alongside multi-kilogram cannabis seizures in Ibadan, Irrua, and Taraba.
- The agency recovered �1,307,100 in cash during an arrest on Saturday, 10th January, and seized two vehicles including a Toyota Venza and Toyota Yaris marked HG 06 LYD on Thursday, 8th January.
- Commands across the country sustained outreach while carrying out raids, continuing War Against Drug Abuse sensitisation at Government Day Science and Technical College, Babura, and Abiayubal Ansari Islamiyya School, Fagge LGA, with arrests in Edo State including Osagbovo Edigin, Ebimi Labo and Akhimie Success.
