AWACS Reconnaissance Aircraft Were Deployed in Lithuania for the First Time

On Tuesday, another NATO AWACS aircraft landed at the airbase (Airborn Warning and Control System, Rus. DROLU systems, a long-range radar detection and control system) which will be deployed at the Lithuanian Air Force base in Shiauliai, along with three other similar aircraft, reported to the Lithuanian Armed Forces on Wednesday.

As reported by the BNS agency, another NATO AWACS aircraft landed at the Šiauliai air base on Tuesday.

The last of the four AWACS aircraft arrived at the Shiaulia airbase
