- The India Meteorological Department has issued a severe weather warning for Nagpur and Wardha districts following continuous heavy rainfall over three days, including 202.4 mm recorded in the past 24 hours.
- Rescue teams from Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Mihan Fire Brigade, NDRF, and SDRF evacuated over 138 people from flood-affected homes and rescued stranded individuals across rural and urban areas.
- District Collector Vipin Itankar urged residents to avoid unnecessary travel, stating, "Do not step out of your homes unless necessary," while CM Fadnavis called for strict safety precautions amid ongoing thunderstorms.
