- Mistone and Vierling each collected four hits, while Carson Garner and Dom Decker added three hits apiece, as the Racers built a substantial advantage by the seventh inning before Ole Miss staged a late rally.
- Brayden Randle's three-run homer in the eighth inning narrowed the gap to one run, and Murray State finished with a program-record 42 wins, surpassing the 1979 team’s 40-win mark.
- The Racers will take on unseeded Duke, the Athens Regional champions, in a best-of-three Durham Super Regional series beginning on Saturday, June 7, with the first game airing at 1 p.m. On ESPNU.
