After the first round of the municipal elections, the two candidates of the Nîmes right, Franck Proust (LR) and Julien Plantier, decided with Valérie Rouverand (Renaissance) to form only one list for the rest of the campaign, and the second round.
The National Rally hit hard last night in the Gard. In the first city of the department, in Nîmes, against all the prognosis and polls of the last few weeks, Julien Sanchez (30.39%) comes in front of Vincent Bouchet (30.05 %). Julien Plantier and Valérie Rouverand's list finally recovers just behind Franck Proust. Pascal Dupretz (LFI) does not exceed the 5% mark.
