On the evening of the first round of municipal elections in Contrexéville, the election is held "in a handkerchief". The four candidates will replay the match next Sunday for a second round, the key of which might well be the participation. Thierry Dané is ahead of Fabrice Georgin by ten votes. Alain Henry and the outgoing mayor, Luc Gerecke, complete the quartet with about fifty votes behind but are qualified for the second round.
