At least thirteen suspects have been arrested in the past week for involvement in two separate cocaine shipments that passed through the Port of Rotterdam. The Public Prosecution Service reports that a total of 600 kilos of cocaine was involved.
Eight men were arrested this month in Breda while unloading a container of tree trunks containing a large quantity of cocaine. The container was filled with logs from Brazil. The shipment, which arrived at the port of Rotterdam, consisted of two containers. A total of 380 kilos of cocaine were hidden inside the logs. The concealment was ingenious.
