Multi-Recidents Double in the Last Four Years in Catalonia

Multirecidence is one of the most bitter debates on security in Catalonia. The figures indicate that in the last four years (from 2021 to 2024), people with seven or more arrests have increased by 240%, all linked to property crimes. Last year, the Mossos d’Esquadra arrested 637 people a total of 6,993 times.
