Missing Mountain Iron man found dead inside home: Sheriff

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says a man who went missing from his Mountain Iron residence on Monday has been found dead.

On March 11, 2025 at approximately 1616 hours, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office deputies were requested to conduct a welfare check on a Mountain Iron resident, identified as 39-year-old, Benjamin James Sherwood.
