Mosquitoes in Youngstown test positive for West Nile Virus

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- The Youngstown City Health District has reported the detection of West Nile Virus in mosquitoes caught in a surveillance trap at Crandall Park. While the sample mosquito population taken from the trap at Crandall Park tested positive for the virus among the pesty insects, there still have been no reported human cases.
