More good news for the Wright House

Alma’s Ammi Wright wasn’t exactly a Yankee Doodle Dandy but who knows if his July 5th birthday was close enough to have helped win a $50,000 grant for the restoration of his home. The Wright House Restoration volunteers who aim to turn his mansion into a museum, were delighted to learn of the grant from America250MI, a state group planning to celebrate America’s 250th birthday next year.
