According to the latest weekly epidemiological report of the National Center for Public Health and Pharmacy (NNGYK), monkeypox (mpox) cases have been registered in two Hungarian counties. Based on the data set processing the period between September 21 and 27, 2026, the infection was identified in Komárom-Esztergom and Pest counties.
