Mobile County deputy chase leads to second civilian injured in less than a week

UPDATE (9:30 p.m.): News 5 has learned more information about the chase that ended in a crash on Dauphin Island Parkway. Officials say the chase reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. It is believed the suspect tossed a firearm out of the vehicle while crossing over the Dog River Bridge. The innocent motorist involved in the crash was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
