Minority teens encouraged to join YMCA's Emerging Leaders Challenge

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The YMCA of the Rock River Valley is now accepting applications from minority teens and young adults for the "Emerging Leaders Challenge." Any minority teens who are currently in high school are eligible to apply for the program, which is part of the YMCA's "Boys and Young Men of Color Strategy" plan, which aims to increase resources to those whom they say may not otherwise be able to reach them.
