On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the Ministry of Health unveiled its action plan to improve care for young people experiencing significant distress. They will be able to receive support in schools.
The governments of Michel Barnier and François Bayrou had said that mental health was a "great national cause." The announcements were even more expected after the murder of an education assistant by a teenager.
Unveiled by the Minister of Health, these 30 measures are announced in mid-2025, when mental health is a major national cause, but also in the aftermath of the murder of a college overseer by a 14-year-old student, the source of a national emotion.
