It was a striking sight in Schiedam this morning: a complete windmill was being transported there in parts across the water. The massive structure has been restored over the past few months and is returning to its familiar spot in Stavenissen, Zeeland. Quite a lot of weight has been loaded onto a boat; the top of the windmill alone weighs nearly 9,000 kilos.
