A Canadian energy company has announced a major oil discovery about six kilometers off the Polish port of Świnoujście on the Baltic Sea. The discovery is estimated to be worth 200 million barrels of oil equivalent and more than 400 million barrels are in place within the company's territory. This makes the oil discovery the largest in Polish history and the largest in Europe in the past decade.
