SLAYTON — Murray County Central senior Ava Johnson is this week’s Peak Performer. Johnson recently graduated from MCC and is nearing the end of her prep golf career. She will compete in her third Class A state meet this week in Becker after winning the Section 3A title by three strokes with a score of 176 while helping the Rebels to the section team title.
