Mauritania: Presidential pardon for dozens of prisoners

The Presidency of the Republic announced that on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, and based on the provisions of Article 37 of the Constitution, His Excellency the President of the Republic issued a decree reducing the period of one (1) year of imprisonment for every convict whose conviction had become final before March 1, 2025.
