Unvaccinated students won’t be allowed to return to school in the fall at Newton public schools after a recent chickenpox surge. A series of cases of chicken pox last week brought to light that nearly 200 students didn’t have the proper vaccines or documentation for exemption, according to a letter from Superintendent Anna Nolin to the school committee.
