Mass. man faces charges after police say he tried to rob a woman

A Malden man was charged Wednesday afternoon after police said he tried to rob a woman in an incident that escalated to where the suspect and the woman’s husband both were stabbed. Kejaun Latney, 26, was charged with breaking and entering, armed burglary, assault with a dangerous weapon — a knife and assault and battery, according to the Boston Police Department. Latney will be arraigned at Boston Municipal Court.
