The Roman Air Force has begun a new mission of Air Police in the Baltic Airspace, under the Roman commitment to NATO's collective security. The "Carpathian Vipers", composed of about 100 F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters, is deployed in Lithuania, on the Šiauliai Air Base, and will provide air police service during the period of April – July 2026, announced by MApN.
The Roman Air Force began on March 31, 31th, a new Air Police mission strengthened in the Baltic Airspace, under the Roman commitment to NATO's collective security. The "Carpathian Vipers" detachment, composed of about 100 F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters with six aircraft, is deployed in Lithuania, at the Šiauliai Air Force Base, and will ensure the Air Police Service reinforced during April – July 2026, inform MAPN.
