- Prompted by the government’s fourfold sports budget increase over the past decade, Khelo Bharat Niti, aligned with education reforms, positions ASMITA as a key pillar in the national sports push.
- The 852 leagues across 15 sports disciplines in 2025 aim to involve over 70,000 female athletes, compared to 550 leagues and over 53,000 athletes last season.
