The Herzegovina-Neretva Canton could soon receive a new law on preschool upbringing and education, which will introduce a mandatory preschool year for the first time. A public debate on the draft law was held in Mostar on Thursday. The new law stipulates that all children must attend at least 150 hours of preschool before starting school, bringing the HNC in line with other cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the RS entity.
