Man who died after being pulled from water at Mass. beach loved the ocean

A 77-year-old man who died after being pulled from the water at a Fairhaven beach last month was remembered in his obituary as a “man of many passions.”Wayne Silveira died on July 22 after being pulled out of the Nasketucket Bay in Fairhaven. Silveira was unconscious and someone on the beach was attempting CPR when first responders arrived around 5 p.m. that day. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
