Man Dies in Hospital After Swimming Across River Liffey After Alleged Assault

- Personnel from the Dublin Fire Brigade treated the man at the scene before he was removed by ambulance to the hospital, where he subsequently passed away; a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
- Gardaí are appealing for anyone with camera or dash-cam footage who travelled between 9:00pm and 10:45pm on Saturday to contact Clondalkin Garda Station at 01 666 7600 or the Garda Confidential Line.
