A man has been charged with murder over the death of his partner in what police believe is the latest tragedy in WA’s domestic violence crisis.

WA Police have charged a man following the death of a woman in Bassendean earlier this week. Around 12.30pm on Wednesday, 20 August 2025, police responded to reports of a serious situation on Reid Street.
