Man caught stealing 53 fishing lures from Canadian Tire

A 56-year-old man has been sentenced after admitting to stealing more than $1,000 worth of fishing lures from a Huntsville store. Randy Greenside pleaded guilty recently in a Bracebridge courtroom to theft under $5,000 and failing to attend court. The court heard that on Nov. 6, 2022, Greenside was at a local Canadian Tire store when he placed 53 fishing lures, valued at $1,054, inside his coat.
