Man, 63, convicted of sexually assaulting a child, authorities say

A 63-year-old Essex County man was convicted last week of sexually assaulting a child, authorities announced Wednesday.Osbourne Gooden, of Irvington, was found guilty on Oct. 10 of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree criminal restraint, according to a statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
