On March 20, Bombay High Court Chief Justice Alok Aradhe's intervention was sought in a letter which underlined that the arguments in the blast case are almost over.

Advocate Shahid Nadeem, on behalf of the victims, had written a letter to the Chief Justice of Bombay High Court, Registrar and Secretary of Law and Justice Department demanding extension of Judge Lahoti's tenure. The letter mentioned that Judge Lahoti has handled the hearing of this case since August 2022 and he is familiar with the nuances of this complex case from every aspect.
