Dump trucks crisscross freshly reclaimed sand as orange pipes snake across the emerging land mass, carrying fill pumped from dredgers offshore.
(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Malaysia is building an artificial island of approximately 930 hectares just south of Penang. The goal is to transform it into a next-generation semiconductor hub, contributing around $269 billion to the economy by 2050.
