A large fire raged in a catering establishment in the historic city centre of Bergen op Zoom on Saturday night, Omroep Brabant reports. The fire raged on the Grote Markt, the oldest part of the city. The fire started around 2:00 a.m. in the roof of a monumental catering establishment that is empty, next to the De Maagd theatre. A fire declared this morning at a hotel in Magaluf in Calvià forced 530 people to be evicted. Two of them were slightly injured by contusions during the evacuation and were taken to a clinic in Palma. The fire, declared in the laundry room of the establishment, has been suffocated by the Mallorcan Bombers and those affected have been able to return to their rooms three hours later. The Civil Guard investigates the causes of the fire.
