Mainz pedestrian control system extensively renewed

Pedestrian Mainz: Just in time for the start of the open air season, the state capital Mainz has modernised the pedestrian control system in Mainz's city centre. At 18 central locations between the Malakoff terrace, the Roman Theatre station, Mainz Central Station and Kaiserstraße, new, over two metres high anthracite-colored steles are now available. These contain city maps as well as signposts on important sights and stops of the city.
