During his meeting in Kiev with his counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky, Czech President Petr Pavel announced the upcoming delivery of multi-role combat aircraft.
According to Foreign Minister Petr Macinka (Motoristé), President Petr Pavel acted like a bull in a china shop when he offered the attacked country several smaller aircraft for defense against drones during a visit to Ukraine this week. Macinka said this on Czech Television on Sunday.
The Czech president announced that he could deliver medium-sized combat aircraft to Ukraine in a short time. He had made a similar proposal a couple of years earlier.
These aren't downplanes, they're part of the army's weapons, and in any case the Czechs will have to buy new ones.
