- On Tuesday, the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group named former Australia all-rounder Tom Moody global director of cricket for the Lucknow Super Giants and its T20 franchises.
- His coaching resume includes two stints with Sunrisers Hyderabad, IPL and Hundred titles, and leading the Desert Vipers to ILT20 finals after scoring over 21,000 first-class runs in Sheffield Shield.
- The Super Giants named a coaching line-up that includes head coach Justin Langer, Kane Williamson as strategic advisor, Lance Klusener assistant coach, Bharat Arun bowling coach, and Carl Crowe spin consultant, aiming to qualify for playoffs after two editions without success as retentions and auction approach.
- While taking on the new global role, Moody will oversee Lucknow Super Giants, Durban's Super Giants and the Manchester franchise in the Hundred, leaving Oval Invincibles after a rare three-peat but continuing in the ILT20.
