Lowest level of deadly violence in 10 years -- less violent gang environment may be an explanation
Last year, 92 people were victims of deadly violence in Sweden, the lowest figure in ten years. Criminologist Manne Gerell believes that one reason for this may be a less violent gang environment. “The police have worked a lot against gang crime and this may be the work we see bringing results now,” he says.
