The 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles will see several innovations, particularly in sports inclusion and gender equality.

The IOC is changing the program for the upcoming summer games. The number of medal decisions remains the same, but in the sports the winners and losers.

On Wednesday, April 9, the American organizing committee detailed its sports programme: 351 medal events, 22 more than in Paris, with new mixed events and even more space for women.
