Lorain County Commission seeks to increase sales tax to fund Sheriff’s Office

Lorain County commissioners took the first step at their June 6 meeting to enact a 0.25 percent sales tax increase by unanimously passing a resolution allowing for the process to begin to get the measure on the November general election ballot.
